Rose in Candlelight
I love to take photos using natural light. Don’t get me wrong, I use a strobe or flashgun when the situations calls for it.
A little while ago I decided to experiment with candlelight. I decided to use a Yankee Candle to illuminate a yellow rose.
I tried a few different configurations and ended up with these 2 photos. The candle was the only light in the room and I used a 10 second exposure time.
I hope you like them.
Please let me know if any of you have used candlelight in your photos.
These are beautiful!
Thanks for the comment.
I have never used candlelight before. This is beautiful. I think I am inspired now to experiment with candlelight.

Beautiful! I experimented with candlelight and time exposures a few years ago. I love the monochromatic effect you created here… soft, warm, yet dramatic.
Very inspiring!
